San Manuel Casino Unshell & Remodel    Highland, CA

With the success of the original casino facility built in 2004, San Manuel Band of Mission Indians wanted to finish the interior build-out of an additional 120,000-sf of space shelled in the original construction. The project included additional gaming, kitchen/dining, MEP support and enhanced back of house areas.

BEK services included design oversight and coordination, construction coordination of unshell and remodel phases of work within a fully operational casino. Scope included power, gaming/area shutdowns, demolition to existing areas, and planning with owner departments for staff relocations. Services also included project administration and control, contract administration, purchasing control, cost analysis and mitigation, document control, change order processing and food & beverage coordination.

BEK has performed as CM at risk for demolition, mechanical systems design and construction, procurement and installation of FF&E as well as food & beverage cook lines and equipment.
